The NFL Report welcomes our newest writer, Matt Reppucci, to our staff, as he will be covering the NBA. Later tonight, you will be able to see his first post for the blog, where he ranks the top 10 teams in the NBA as of Week 2. Important Announcement: College Football

The NFL Report warmly welcomes Juan Carlos Fernandez del Castillo, the fourth writer to be added to our staff. Juan Carlos will be covering college football, and later today, you can expect a post pertaining to college football power rankings. An avid college football fan, Juan Carlos will be a great new addition to our staff, and you might even see him help with John Driscoll with our MLB section over the course of baseball's offseason. Welcome Juan Carlos!

Important Announcement: Fantasy Football Section

     The NFL Report will be having a new writer, Gabe Schmittlein, join our staff within the next few days, as he will be writing weekly posts on fantasy football. His first article will be a "Start 'em, Sit 'Em" post for Week 6, and from there, Gabe Schmittlein will offer fantasy advice throughout the season to help you win your fantasy league. Gabe Schmittlein is referred to as 'The Fantasy Football Guru', so be sure to return within the next day or so in order to read his first post for The NFL Report.

Important Announcement: MLB Section

     We are proud to announce that The NFL Report will be adding a brand-new category to our very diverse collection of topics: Major League Baseball. The MLB will now be covered by our recently-introduced writer John Driscoll. Our new section is just in time for the MLB Playoffs, by far the pinnacle of the MLB season. Within the next few days, John Driscoll's first article will be published, as he will predict the winners of each and every game in the 2013 Postseason. Be sure to be back soon in order to see our MLB Predictions.

As we enter the heart of football season, The NFL Report has now decided to write weekly posts on not just the NFL, but now college football as well. Bowl season is just one week away, and Saturday's upsets inspired us to diversify our posts. Our blog's name will stay the same, but don't be surprised if you see several posts on the college football season each and ever month.

After tonight's closing of Week 1, The NFL Report is excited for what lies ahead. Week 2 means new segments such as the Game of the Week Preview (GOWP) and the Game of the Week Review (GOWR). There will be the Week 1 scoring updates coming out Tuesday night, as well as the top photos from Week 1 (all of these will be weekly occurrences) and our traditional power rankings every three weeks. There might also be the top plays as well as mistakes every so often, so keep an I out for that. A Fantasy Football Injury Report Update before Sunday's game, and last but least, we will keep you update on The NFL Report's record when it comes to our predictions.
